We offer consultations for teens in grades 7 to 12, tailored to the issues that matter most to them AND exploring questions such as: How do I find friends? How do I become a good friend? How do I leave friendships that aren’t good? How do I deal with mean peers?
The consultations are designed to meet teens where they are at, which is the perfect place to start!
We also provide a range of school presentations for teens, parents and teachers on friendships.
Hi! I am Dr Mary Kaspar, a clinical psychologist, teen educator, writer, researcher, and mother to three young adult daughters and one dog, Alfie.
My background includes studying psychology, sociology, human physiology, and philosophy at university. It was my love for people that motivated me to complete a doctorate in clinical psychology. Since then, I have been actively engaged in my practice, working both individually with clients and facilitating group programs for young people. I also present in schools to teens and parents.
I am the author of 'The Popular Girls'. This book explores adolescent girl relationships, relational aggression and linkages with mental health. It presents a seven-step framework for achieving meaningful popularity and personal growth. This formula offers new perspectives and tools centered on compassion, connection, and courage.
My objective is to guide young people toward healthy relationships and overall well-being. My core values are bravery, fairness, and a passion for learning.
‘This is an outstanding book. The most thorough I have ever seen on this subject. It is also strong on answers- ways that you can help your daughter choose to be kind, and develop her values and goals for how she will treat people throughout her life', STEVE BIDDULPH, million copy bestselling author
'This book may very well be the very best book I have ever read about understanding adolescent girl psychology and how it affects behaviour, well-being and friendships. In many ways it is completely groundbreaking', MAGGIE DENT, best selling author of Girlhood
